Jamie Delmotte

CEO/Chairman

Jamie Delmotte is the Chief Executive Officer of RISE Properties, where he leads the executive team and oversees the firm’s strategic direction from Vancouver, BC, and Seattle. With over 35 years of global real estate experience, Jamie specializes in real estate strategy capital markets, investor relations, and portfolio optimization. Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2026, he served on the RISE Board of Directors for over five years. His career includes a 30-year tenure at Grosvenor Americas, most recently as Chief Co-Investment Officer for North America where he was responsible for the firm’s capital markets activities, investor relations, and strategic investment initiatives across North America. He holds credentials from the University of British Columbia and the University of East London.

Austin Kuhns

Chief Financial Officer

Austin Kuhns joined RISE in 2014 and is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Risk Officer (CRO), responsible for Accounting, Finance, Compliance and Risk Management. During his time at RISE, Mr. Kuhns has negotiated over $2.5 billion in debt financing on both the corporate and asset levels working with the acquisition and asset management teams. Attending quarterly Board meetings, Mr. Kuhns is the principal liaison on governance, reporting, confidentiality & conflict of interest guidelines. Prior to RISE, Mr. Kuhns was an Auditor at KPMG (2009-2011) working with real estate related businesses. In 2011, he joined the Pacific Car & Foundry Company (PACCAR) as Manager of Corporate Consolidations, responsible for managing the external reporting to investors in a Fortune 500 Company. Mr. Kuhns holds a Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) from the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business (2009), a BA in Business, Accounting and Finance from Western Washington University (2008) and is a licensed CPA in Washington State.

Kyle Tenenbaum

Senior Manager, Capital Markets

Kyle Tenenbaum joined RISE in 2018, beginning in an Investor Relations role. As the Senior Manager of Capital Markets, Kyle manages all Investor Relations, assists with firm Capital Markets strategy, leads asset financing, and helps plan fund capital management. Over the course of his career, Kyle has led the closing of $1.3 billion USD of debt financing. Kyle holds an MBA with an emphasis on Finance from Seattle University and a B.S. from the University of Michigan.

Robert Kaler

Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting

Robert Kaler joined RISE in 2016 and is Corporate Controller. Robert brings 14 years of accounting and finance experience to his role at RISE, and oversees all Trust and Management Co. accounting, reporting, back-office processing, recordkeeping, and system operations. Robert works closely with Asset Management Team Members to ensure accurate and insightful financial recordkeeping. Robert has been instrumental in improving systems and processes to facilitate growth and is constantly looking for ways to implement further improvements and best practices. Robert joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York (2012 – 2015) after three years of various internships, working with alternative investment clients in real estate investment funds. Robert earned a Master of Accounting Degree (2012) from Gonzaga University (Spokane, WA) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University (Idaho). Robert is a licensed CPA in Washington state.

Matt Berg

Senior Asset Manager

Matt Berg joined RISE in 2014. He serves as a Senior Asset Manager, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer. Matt plays a central role in bridging RISE ownership with Thrive Communities property management, directing execution of business plans across operations, renovations, capital planning, reporting, and joint-venture partner relations. In addition, Matt has been instrumental in sourcing and closing over $1 billion USD in acquisitions and dispositions. His leadership extends to redevelopment initiatives and strategic asset management. Since joining RISE, Matt has held roles in Investor Relations and as an Investment Analyst, building on experience gained at Thrive and in prior positions in accounting and healthcare benefits management. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Central Washington University.

Karl Haisch

Senior Asset Manager

Karl Haisch joined RISE in 2023. He serves as a Senior Asset Manager, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer. Karl plays a central role in bridging RISE ownership with Thrive Communities property management, directing execution of business plans across operations, renovations, capital planning, reporting, and joint-venture partner relations. He collaborates closely with Thrive’s property and renovation teams, making owner decisions that drive asset performance and maximize returns. Karl brings extensive multifamily experience from both the Pacific Northwest and national markets, with expertise in strategy and value optimization. He earned a B.A.B.A. in Finance from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. He is a CP3 Certified Credit Compliance Professional, a licensed Washington State Real Estate Broker, and holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington.

Andrew Wieneke

Operations Manager

Andrew Wieneke joined RISE in 2022. He serves as Operations Manager, reporting to the Chief Investment Officer. Andrew leads initiatives to enhance operational transparency and portfolio performance, developing systems that strengthen reporting, compliance, and alignment between management and ownership. He collaborates closely with Thrive’s property and renovation teams to support execution of asset strategies and optimize outcomes. Andrew holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Denver. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Washington State.

Jared Ostendorp

Associate Investment Manager

Jared Ostendorp joined RISE in 2020 and serves as Associate Investments Manager with a focus on the firm’s acquisition activities. Jared’s responsibilities are centered around all stages of the acquisition process, from intake and general maintenance of the acquisition pipeline to underwriting and finally through the diligence/closing processes. Jared also assists in the creation and analysis of ongoing market research applicable to PNW multi-family real estate. To date, Jared has worked on $700M of acquisition activity for RISE. Prior to joining the RISE team, Jared graduated from the University of Washington (2020) where he obtained both a B.A. in Business-Finance and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with a focus in Mathematical Economics. Jared is currently pursuing a M.S. degree in Computational Finance and Risk Management, also from the University of Washington.
