Investors should be aware that the Rise Properties Trust is an illiquid investment as the real estate held within the fund is illiquid. Furthermore it is management’s intention to hold these properties over the long term (e.g. 5 years or more), pending the availability of profitable exit strategies. Unit holders may request a redemption of their units on a quarterly basis.
Although Rise Properties Trust intends to make regular distributions to unit holders and accommodate redemption requests, management has the right to deny these if the trust has insufficient cash or, management wishes to preserve cash for future development projects.
